These Community Guidelines apply to all products owned by Paroter Technologies, including:

• Paroter: Multifaceted social media platform News Feed, Videos, Music, Marketplace, Groups, Pages, Ads, Exclusive Content

• Parojet: Delivering messages, news, trending topics & stories at Jet speed, Parojet is the social network developed by Paroter Technologies Company, built for speed, simplicity, and community. Post quick updates, follow what’s trending, and join topic-based communities that make it easy to find your people and be heard

• ParoChat: Messenger service Chats, Groups, Voice Calls, Video Calls

Our mission is to maintain a safe, responsible, and compliant digital environment in alignment with:

-Tanzania Communications Regulatory Authority (TCRA) -Cybercrimes Act, 2015 - EPOCA (CAP 306) -International digital safety standards

1. Safety & Compliance With the Law

Users may NOT use Paroter, Parojet, or ParoChat for:

• Child sexual exploitation

• Terrorism, extremism, or recruitment

• Promotion of violence or criminal activities

• Fraud, impersonation, identity theft

• Online scams or money laundering

• Distribution of harmful software malware, phishing links

Any violation may result in immediate account suspension and reporting to authorities.

2. Prohibited Political & Religious Provocation

To maintain peace, unity, and compliance with Tanzanian regulations:

2.1 Political Restrictions

Users may not post or send through Paroter, Parojet, or ParoChat:

• Politically inflammatory content

• Unauthorized election-related material

• False political information

• Calls for protests, unrest, or political violence

• Political propaganda meant to divide communities

2.2 Religious Restrictions

Users may not:

• Insulting religions or religious leaders

• Promote religious hatred or violence

• Spread false or provocative religious messages

3. False, Misleading, or Harmful Information

Prohibited content includes:

• False news intended to deceive

• Content causing public fear or confusion

• Health misinformation that endangers the public

• Misleading financial or investment claims

Paroter, Parojet, and ParoChat may apply labels, remove content, or restrict accounts.

4. Hate Speech, Bullying & Harassment

We do not allow:

• Abuse, insults, or threats

• Hate speech targeting tribe, race, gender, disability, nationality, religion

• Cyberbullying or harassment through Chat or Groups

• Exposure of private information doxxing

5. Violence, Graphic & Harmful Content

Banned content includes:

• Graphic violence or gore

• Videos showing physical harm without an educational context

• Encouragement of dangerous activities

• Promotion of weapons intended for harm

6. Sexual Content & Nudity

Prohibited on Paroter, Parojet, and ParoChat:

• Pornography

• Explicit sexual content

• Sexual exploitation

• Non-consensual nude sharing

• Sexualized content involving minors

7. Fraud, Impersonation & Spam

Users must not:

• Pretend to be another person or brand

• Create fake or duplicate accounts

• Send bulk messages, spam, or automated content

• Engage in financial scams or pyramid schemes

8. Child Safety Rules All Platforms

Paroter Technologies strictly prohibits:

• Harassment or grooming of minors

• Child sexual material in any form

• Dangerous challenges involving minors

• Accounts pretending to be minors for exploitation

Violations lead to permanent account banning.

9. Intellectual Property Protection

Users must not upload:

• Copyrighted movies, music, or media without permission

• Pirated content

• Content they don’t own or do not have usage rights for

Takedown procedures are available for rights holders.

10. Platform Usage Conduct

Users must:

• Respect others

• Follow all platform rules

• Report harmful content

• Avoid misuse of Groups, Calls, or News Feed

• Not interfere with platform systems or security

Enforcement Actions

Paroter Technologies may apply:

• Content removal

• Account warnings

• Feature restrictions

• Temporary suspension

• Permanent ban

• Legal reporting for serious offenses
